V.I.P. Rural Water Fleet Vehicle Program

Who Is Eligible

Rural and municipal water and wastewater systems of any size who are members of their State Rural Water Association. 

Rural Water Associate Members who purchase and register or lease 5 or more new vehicles during the current or preceding calendar year, current or preceding model year or preceding twelve month period or currently operate a fleet of 15 vehicles or more.

Vehicles and VIP Discounts

These discounts are applied to the dealer invoice price for each vehicle.

The VIP Fleet Discounts are up to 6 times higher than the normal Fleet discount.  The discount is off of the Manufacturers Invoice Price and ranges from $1,000 to $6,000 depending on the model of vehicle. 

While you may contact your local dealer for details, we suggest you contact Fleet Central at www.NRWAfleet.com  or 1-800-375-4471.  A vehicle ordered through fleet central is shipped through your local dealer at no additional cost.  They will provide you with the manufacturers invoice price as well as the fleet discount amount and price.

In most cases the VIP Fleet program pricing is comparable with state contract bid.  In addition the lifetime power train warranty is included in the VIP program and is not under state bid programs.

Make sure you receive the Rural Water VIP Fleet program quote instead of the normal fleet quote.
 

How to Purchase Hassle Free

There are two ways to order on this unique program for rural and small utilities. 

1.  (Recommended):  Order from Rural Water Fleet Central www.NRWAfleet.com   and have the vehicle delivered through your local dealer.  There is no additional cost for this service.  This purchase point allows you to build the vehicle you desire and utilize your local dealer for delivery.  You may also order by calling 1-800-375-4471.  (ask for Fleet Department) 

2.  Order through your local dealer.  Many local dealers are not fleet dealerships and are unfamiliar with VIP Fleet Pricing.  Be sure to insist on the VIP Fleet Discount which is much larger than the normal fleet pricing.

NDPES number.  (Fleet sales may only be titled to an entity)

• Dealer stock is also eligible for the VIP Fleet Discount, however, we recommend ordering your new vehicle with the accessories you need and want.

Who is eligible for the VIP Program?

All public water and wastewater utilities who are members of their state rural water association are eligible for this program regardless of size or the number of vehicles they purchase.

My local dealers do not know anything about fleet discounts.  What can I do? 

Many local dealers are not familiar with the VIP Fleet pricing process. We suggest you use Rural Water Fleet Central at  www.NRWAfleet.com to order the vehicle and have it delivered through your local dealer.  You may also call 1-800-375-4471 and ask for Fleet Department. 

Can I purchase off the lot?

Yes, but again the dealer may not be familiar with the VIP Fleet Purchase program.  We recommend ordering the vehicle of your choice with the accessories you desire.

 Is financing available? 

 Yes, financing as well as leasing is available under this program.

I am an employee of a utility can I purchase a vehicle under this program?

 No.  Fleet sales may only be titled to an entity and the entity is obligated to keep the vehicle in their name for 12 months.

I am an associate member of rural water can my company purchase under this program?

Yes, your company may receive these VIP Discounts if your company is a member of a state rural water association and meets the criteria for eligibility of a regular fleet customer which is: 

Purchase and register or lease 5 or more new vehicles during the current or preceding calendar year, current or preceding model year or preceding twelve month period. 

Currently operate a fleet of 15 vehicles or more or

Otherwise represent an organization which is eligible to utilize federal, state, county or local affiliated special bid concessions to purchase or lease vehicles
